Director of Girls Health
Annie Dong is a senior at Townsend Harris High School and she hopes to empower young women to make informed decisions about their health and feel more comfortable in their own bodies. She loves to spend time in the kitchen baking and cooking for loved ones. In the future, she hopes to travel the world while pursuing my career as a pediatrician. Her guilty pleasure is binging crime and medical dramas. She is the current director of Girls Health and part of the executive team.

Director of Like, Share, and be a girl
Nia is a spirited individual who manages to play sports, debate, and engage in her hobbies like literature and theater while also serving as her class's president. She is the current director of Like, Share, and be a girl and part of the executive team.

Director of Girlstyle
Maddy Woldu is an editorial board member of GirlsTawk. Maddy likes to spend her time reading, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. She also tries to raise awareness for different issues going on in our world. She aspires to pursue a career in the engineering field. She is the current director of Girlstyle and part of the executive team.

Communication Director
Emily is a 15 year old freshman with a passion for politics and internal affairs. She has a huge emphasis on peace resolution as well as environmental work. In her free time she enjoys reading. She serves as class vp, and will be class president this coming year. She is also president of her quizbowl and Spanish Club next year. She's a strong speaker who loves to participate in speech and debate. She also serves as communication director for her model un and part of the executive team.

Mariana Aldave-Rios is a 18-year-old high school senior from Lima, Peru. She is also President of the Student Council and Director General of Model UN team at her school. She has a passion for International Law and debate. She is also a part of the executive team.

Director of Global Girls
Alice is in high school looking to pursue a career in STEM in the future, specifically, as an engineer or biochemist. She is also in the newspaper club and the robotics club for my school. And enjoys reading and writing and wishes to continue exploring her passion by sharing her opinions on GirlsTawk. During her free time, she likes to watch crime / action shows + movies or experience something new. She loves rock music and coffee candy. She is the current director of Global Girls. She is also a part of the executive team.

Kiera D'Souza, a driven and passionate young woman who loves helping others, empowering young girls, and has interests in music and participates in high school track. She initiated a passion project, where she held a sports camp over the summer, to empower young girls to find their passion in sports. In addition, she held a sports equipment collection for kids in Newark at Benjamin Franklin Elementary school. Furthermore, Kiera is also an accomplished pianist. She began playing piano at a young age and has continued to practice and hone her skills over the years, performing at local recitals, competitions and even Lincoln Center. She hopes to continue a path in helping others and making positive changes in society.

Cara is a junior at Livingston High School, who loves to support her friends and plays an active role in her community. She serves as President and Head of Communications in several school clubs that aim to raise awareness and aid groups in need (i.e. Helping Hunger, UNICEF, etc.). In the future, she hopes to pursue her education and career in architectural engineering! She is also a part of the executive team.

Ritu Jayakar is a 17-year-old junior at Parsippany High School. Her hobbies are dancing, listening to music, cooking, and baking. She attends many clubs in her school like UNICEF, Math Team, and Red Cross. She likes to participate in cultural activities by joining the Indian Cultural Club at her school. She wants to pursue a career as an endocrinologist.

Tvisha Reikhy is a sophomore at Livingston High School! As a softball player, sports have always been a big part of her life, which is why she has held sports-camps and sports drives to encourage the same for children of all backgrounds. She enjoys planning community-events about disease-awareness as a board member of HOSA, a club that focuses on promoting the healthcare profession among high school students. Outside of school, she enjoys dancing to Bollywood songs, spending time with her brother, and going to the beach. She hopes that this Girls Health Conference will help to educate the girls in her community about their bodies and mental health, destigmatize health-issues related to females, and most importantly, show other girls that they are not alone in their struggles.

Valeria Peña is a Peruvian young feminist activist passionate in politics, who dreams about developing a better future for her sisters in Peru. Founder of the NGO called Medi for Menstruacion Digna that fights menstrual poverty in slums and now helps more than two hundred girls gaining access to health care education. She's an alumni of Latin American Leadership Academy and recently admitted into Harvard Undergraduate International Relations Scholar Program. She is part of the debate team of her school and the developer of the first professional searching tool to learn and solve questions about periods! Called "Medi - Web".

Catarina Carrareto is Brazilian and a very engaged teenager. She has successfully passed programs such as the New York Times Summer Program, Harvard IRSP, Cambridge University's Nanotechnologic and Space Program, and others that demonstrate her leadership and love for changing the world. Catarina is the founder of a social project focused on education, is polyglot, and passionate about astronomy and science. She is an activist for gender equality and director of the project that founded the National Conference on Gender Equity in Brazil. Catarina loves to write, and is proud to be a storyteller.

Trisha is a 17 year old junior with an interest in politics and disability rights. Alongside a passion of law and debate, she enjoys reading, blogging, and video editing. She is a part of two honor societies at her school, captain of the forensic team, and well versed in Model UN. Above all, Trisha is dedicated to the task of sharing information to all who might find it useful.

Samishna Roy is a 17 year old high school student from India. She is passionate, hardworking and goal driven. Along with being an all-rounder who is interested in pursuing International Relations as a career, she is also is an avid reader and writer, who believes in the concept of creating a positive impact through the "voice of words". Samishna is a skilled orator, achieving success in various interschool elocution competitions and winning notable accolades in theatre and dance. She has appeared in the Times of India newspaper, mentored speakers in TED-ED, and was also a Harvard IRSP scholar. She is associated with her school's Organising Committee, and is also a member of the Executive Board for MUN. She is currently seeking out more opportunities to sharpen her skills and enhance her performance. Apart from academics and extra curriculars, she is a paranormal, psychological thriller and murder mystery enthusiast, who can discuss such topics for hours on end and will enjoy every minute of it.
